8th Grade Graduation – will be this Sunday, June 13th at the 10:15am worship service at Zion Lutheran Church. All are invited to attend. There will be a reception downstairs after the service.
5th-7th Grade Graduation Band – call time this Sunday (6/13) is 9:45 am. The service begins at 10:15. You must stay for the WHOLE service. We are playing in the beginning and at the end. Dress is as follows:
Girls:
Nice blouses
Skirts, pants, or a dress (skirts MUST fall below the knee!)
Sandals are OK or nice shoes
NO: sneakers, t-shirts, tank tops (shoulders must be covered), jeans, flip-flops
Boys:
Dress shirts (polo or collared)
Dress pants (khakis, navy or black)
Nice shoes
Tie is NOT required
NO: sneakers, flip flops, jeans, t-shirts
Closing Chapel - will be on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 8:30am in the church. All end-of-the year awards will be giving at this chapel. Family and friends are always welcome to worship with us. In the event of inclement weather, chapel will be held in the school gym.
Garage Sale – Thank You – to everyone who supported the Garage Sale! We appreciate all of the donations, the people who worked and the people who shopped! Thanks to all of you – we raised over $1,300 for our “Furnace Fund.”
Student Government Elections – for President and Vice President for the 2010 – 2011 school year will be held on Monday, June 14th due to the change of Field Day.
8th Grade Trip – Our 8th grade class will be going on their trip to Washington D.C. on June 14th, 15th & 16th. Mrs. Dawson, Miss Curto and Mr. Rinda will be the chaperones. We keep all of the students and adults in our prayers for a safe and fun-filled trip!
Yearbooks – were given out to those who pre-ordered. There are still a limited number available to purchase. Cost is $30.00. Please bring $ to the office if you would like to purchase a yearbook.
Principal For The Day – Richard DiFalco will be helping Pastor Pranschke perform his duties on Monday, June 14th. Way to go, Richard!
Gently Used Uniforms – We will have a table in the lobby with gently used uniforms that students have outgrown. You are welcome to come and “shop” for some uniforms for next year. The table will be out there on the 3 half-days – June 16th, 17th & 18th.
Student Government – will have their final meeting & end-of-the year party on Monday, June 14th from 3:10 – 4:00pm in Mrs. Hofmann’s room.
Manna – (GIFT CARDS) for Shop Rite, Kings and A&P can be purchased in the school office Monday through Friday during school hours. Remember certificates are at FACE VALUE so there is no extra cost to you.

General Mills Box Tops – Remember to collect box tops. Bring them to school and put them in the box outside the office.
Campbell Soup Labels – are collected by our school. Please bring in the UPC bar code part only and put them in the container outside the school office.
Tyson Project A+ Labels – are collected by our school. Please bring in the appropriate portion of the label and put them in the “chicken” container outside the school office.
