Our classes are small which allow our teachers to give each student the outstanding education they deserve.
Besides our strong, solid basic foundation in Language Arts, Reading and Math, we offer classes in Religion, Social Studies, Science, Spanish (kindergarten through eighth grade), physical education, both instrumental and choral music, handbells and art.
We have many wonderful extra-curricular activities including a sign language club, a baking club, a chess club, student government and basketball as well as touring handbells. We have a worship service every Tuesday. (Come and join us.)
Transitional Kindergarten
Zion Lutheran School is very excited to announce the formation of a Transitional Kindergarten class. This class is designed for the child eligible for kindergarten but who may not be emotionally, physically or academically ready for a regular kindergarten program. They need the "gift" of an extra year. Allowing a child that additional year of maturity along with good supportive academic programming, will provide him/her with the skills necessary to be successful in kindergarten and often for the rest of his/her academic career. Zion Lutheran is known for its small classes, individualized introduction and innovative teaching staff. It is the perfect place for children to develop the skills they need for academic success.
